All research fields supported at IST Austria will be eligible (see https://ist.ac.at/en/research). Should the specific interdisciplinary expertise required for the proposed research not be available at IST, an external secondary supervisor can be proposed. This external supervisor can provide the fellow with a secondment of up to three months per fellowship year.
- Applicants must have been awarded their PhD and have between two and four years of postdoctoral experience at the time of recruitment.
- Applicants must have an existing affiliation to an academic/research institution (note: researchers already employed at IST Austria are not eligible to apply).
- Following the initial evaluation round, top-ranked candidates must be available for a remote interview between Oct. 5, 2020, and Oct. 9, 2020.
- If successful, the NOMIS Fellowship must commence within six months of notification.
