9. March 2021 Higher EducationStudies
Hörsaal
On March 18 and 19, the FHTW will virtually present the extensive range of Bachelor and Master courses as part of the Open Days.

All those who are interested in studying at the FHTW can convince themselves of the wide range of offers at the only purely technical university of applied sciences in Austria on March 18 and 19. This year, the Open Days will take place exclusively online as a virtual event. For prospective students, there will be interactive zoom information sessions on both days, in which topics, contents and special features of all courses are presented. Participation is of course free of charge, but registration is requested. All those who have registered will receive information on how to participate and digital information about the UAS Technikum Wien in good time. Upon request, the new study folder can also be sent by regular mail free of charge.

18. March: The Bachelor's degree at the FHTW

Day one on March 18th is all about the Bachelor's degree programs and begins at 9 a.m. with a general information session. The staff at the FHTW's InfoCenter answer frequently asked questions, for example about the application as well as the preparation and the course of the ranking test. The interactive information sessions for the Bachelor's degree programs from the Computer Science, Life Science Engineering, Electronic Engineering and Industrial Engineering faculties will start at 10 a.m. (detailed information on the process can be found here)
From 2–3 pm there will be a round of talks entitled “FemMINT Girls only” only for female interested parties - active female students report here how it is to study in a so-called “male domain”. In the third part of the day, questions from the audience on the study programs will be answered by students of the FHTW under the motto “Ask Me Anything”.

19. March: The master’s degree at the FHTW

The second day of the Open Days belongs to the master’s courses at the University of Applied Sciences and starts with a virtual campus tour with Rector Fritz Schmöllebeck (11 a.m.). The info sessions for the Master’s degree programs begin at 12 noon.
