Two ERC Advanced Grants for scientists from the University of Vienna

The computer scientist Monika Henzinger and the Arabist Stephan Procházka each receive an ERC Advanced Grant. The EU funding is invested in basic research to explore topics as diverse as the protection of privacy when accessing data and the role of the Bedouins in the development of the Arabic language. So far, a total of 85 ERC grants have been awarded to the University of Vienna; for Monika Henzinger it is already the second ERC Advanced Grant after 2013.
