Funding Programme Taiwan-Austria

The new funding programme which was launched in Taiwan and Austria shall support the implementation and development of international cooperation activities between Taiwan and Austria.

The aim of the programme is to stimulate joint activities and to contribute to direct collaboration among universities, higher education and research institutions in Taiwan and Austria.

Funding for bilateral research projects is mainly available for travel and accommodation costs of students and researchers as well as project-related material costs up to € 2,000 per project for the one or two-year project period. The sending side will cover the travel expenses as well as the accommodation costs of its own researchers.

Areas of cooperation are Natural Sciences, Technical Sciences, Agricultural Sciences and Social Sciences. Researchers at universities, universities of applied sciences and non-university research institutions in the areas of basic research are invited to apply in cooperation with a project partner in Taiwan. All proposals must be submitted at both the OeAD by the Austrian project coordinator and at the MOE by the Taiwanese project coordinator.
