Canada ranks fourth in the world regarding the number of international students. 60% of the students want to gain experience abroad as part of their studies, 50% of the students aim for a post-graduate program abroad.
With the increasing number of English-language programs in Austria, Canada is a very attractive market for Austrian universities and higher education institutions. The COVID-19 pandemic is forcing the organizers to hold the next dates online.
The Austrian Consulate General - Commercial Section in Toronto will participate in the virtual trade fair on February 11, 2021 with a virtual Austria booth (catalogue exhibition). The event takes place as part of the go-international internationalization offensive, a joint initiative of the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs and the Austrian Chamber of Commerce.
