With three new master’s programs, the University of Applied Arts Vienna is continuing on its path of deepening itself in future-relevant interdisciplinary fields of content and offering its students contemporary, internationally oriented courses.

With Experimental Game Cultures and Expanded Museum Studies, the Applied Department is facing the urgent debate within these subject areas. The Master’s degree in Cross-Disciplinary Strategies / Applied Studies in Art, Science, Philosophy, and Global Challenges complements the Bachelor’s degree that was successfully launched in the 2017/18 academic year. All three new courses start in the coming academic year - October 2021 -, conclude with the academic degree Master of Arts (MA) and have a minimum duration of four semesters (120 ECTS credit points). For admission to the three courses - as for all courses at an Austrian art university - the successful completion of an application process is necessary.
