The new degree programmes aim to establish the Pinkafeld campus as a central training centre in the health sector. The site of the University of Applied Sciences Burgenland – since July 2024, universities of applied sciences in Austria may rebrand as universities of applied sciences (Hochschulen für Angewandte Wissenschaften) – is currently being expanded to approximately 15,000 square metres. By 2026, a state-of-the-art education facility will be created, featuring laboratories, lecture halls, skills labs and student common areas.
