Salzburg University of Applied Sciences

The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences offers 18 bachelor's and 15 master's degree programs as well as numerous continuing education courses at four locations. The offerings in the Departments of Applied Social Sciences, Business and Tourism, Creative Technologies, Design and Green Engineering, Health Sciences and Information Technologies and Digitalization are diverse. The topics range from IT, engineering, smart building, wood technology, business, tourism, media and design to social work and health.

We collaborate with partner institutions in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia in international projects as well as faculty and student exchange. Besides their studies, students can create networks for later professional careers at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. All of our auditoriums and labs provide modern state-of-the-art equipment. Our locations – Urstein Campus, Kuchl Campus, Salzburg Campus (University Hospital LKH), and Schwarzach Campus (Kardinal Schwarzenberg Hospital) – are situated in one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

High research competence. The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences focuses on applied research especially in information technologies, business & tourism, creative technologies, health- and social-related studies as well as green engineering and design. All our campuses are interdisciplinarily connected and offer a wide range of teaching and research tools.
Excellent industry contacts. We have close ties with leading regional and international companies. Professional placements and project experience are a central part of our studies. The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences cooperates closely with companies. A great percentage of our lecturers is also active in the business world.
Advanced infrastructure. State-of-the-art lab equipment provides the ideal setting for creative minds and supports the most advanced teaching methodologies. Our campuses can be reached by local trains or buses. The picturesque city centre of Salzburg is only a few minutes’ ride away. We also have housing opportunities at both locations.
International network and English degree programmes. The FH Salzburg offers a total of 6 degree programmes taught in English (1 bachelor’s programme, 5 master’s programmes). The international focus of these programmes enables students to develop intercultural skills and build a global network in addition to specialist knowledge.
