Salzburg University of Applied Sciences offers its 3,200 students a first-rate academic education with a strong practical orientation in the following disciplines: Applied Social Sciences, Business and Tourism, Creative Technologies, Health Sciences, Green Engineering and Circular Design and Information Technologies and Digitalisation. We collaborate with partner institutions in Europe, America, Asia, and Australia in international pro-jects as well as faculty and student exchange. Besides their studies, students can create networks for later professional careers at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences. All of our auditoriums and labs provide modern state-of-the-art equipment. Our locations – Urstein Campus, Kuchl Campus, Salzburg Campus (University Hospital LKH), and Schwarzach Campus (Kardinal Schwarzenberg Hos-pital) – are situated in one of the most beautiful areas in the world.

High research competence. The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences focuses on applied research especially in information technologies, business & tourism, media and design, health-related studies as well as wood technologies. Our campuses are interdisciplinarily connected and offer a wide range of teaching and research tools including the Marketing Research & eTourism Lab, a robotic laboratory and the MediaLab.
Excellent industry contacts. We have close ties with leading regional and international companies. Professional placements and project experience are a central part of our studies. The Salzburg University of Applied Sciences cooperates closely with companies. A great percentage of our lecturers is also active in the business world.
Advanced infrastructure. State-of-the-art lab equipment provides the ideal setting for creative minds and supports the most advanced teaching methodologies. Both campuses can be reached by local trains or buses. The picturesque city centre of Salzburg is only a few minutes’ ride away. We also have housing opportunities at both locations.
International network and English degree programmes. Four degree programmes (one bachelor’s and three master’s programmes) are fully taught in English and cater to international students, who constitute roughly 50% of the regular student population of these programmes.
