St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences

The St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences offers numerous bachelor´s and master´s degree programmes and continuing education programmes in the nine topic areas Media and Digital Technologies, Computer Science and Security, Railway Technology, Communications, Management, Health, and Social Sciences. The aim is to provide vocationally orientated academic training in which practical experience and team projects play an essential role. Moreover, students will obtain a high level of foreign language competence as well as communicative and interpersonal skills, and they can choose to acquire international certificates. Study or work abroad periods are encouraged. The St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences is housed in a modern, friendly new building near the city centre and is equipped with state-of-the-art lecture halls, computer rooms, laboratories, a library and a refectory.

We are a European University. The St. Pölten UAS is part of the European University Alliance E³UDRES² and leads this network, which comprises a total of 9 universities and universities of applied sciences from all over Europe. As an alliance, E³UDRES² partners work closely together to make a significant contribution in the areas of higher education, research, and innovation. E³UDRES² offers students particularly easy access to international exchange across Europe: Events such as hackathons, I Living Labs, or bootcamps enable students to leave their own bubble, meet people from other cultures, and gain practical experience. E³UDRES², an excellence progamme of the European Union, also offers numerous opportunities for low-threshold short-term mobilities that enrich your CV with international experience. All E³UDRES² formats are open to all of our students – regardless of degree programme or background. The St. Pölten UAS thus offers the best prerequisites for gaining international experience.

Numerous bachelor and master degree programmes as well as the majority of continuing education courses are offered on a part-time basis. Dual study programmes combine theoretical knowledge with practical training in the company.
