Starting in autumn 2026, Salzburg University of Applied Sciences will offer a new part-time bachelor's degree programme that combines technical innovation with ecological and social responsibility. Green Engineering combines engineering fundamentals, business management expertise and ecological skills with the aim of implementing sustainable processes and circular economy in practice.

"Students are actively shaping the transition to a sustainable circular economy," emphasises FH Prof. Dr. Alina Meindl, head of the development team. The programme includes close cooperation with companies, practical projects and flexible study organisation for working professionals. From the third semester onwards, students can specialise in sustainable process engineering or circular economy.

Applications will be accepted from 30 October 2025, with the programme starting in September 2026 (subject to approval).
