The Medical University of Innsbruck will be the first Austrian university to become a member of the European alliance NeurotechEU, a consortium of nine leading universities in the fields of neuroscience, medicine and technology. Formal accession is planned for the end of the year, while organisational structures for cooperation and exchange programmes are currently being established. Representatives of the alliance emphasise that Innsbruck, with its strong clinical and technological expertise, will significantly enrich the network. Students and researchers will benefit in future from new mobility opportunities, joint teaching formats and expanded European research access.
