Alexandra Graf and Manuel Pfitzner, two experienced scientists, are taking over the management of key degree programmes at the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna. As the new head of the Bioinformatics degree programme, Alexandra Graf is focusing on strengthening the scientific profile, intensifying the research focus in teaching and increasing international visibility. Manuel Pfitzner, the new programme director in the field of sustainability and resource management, is focusing on the strategic development of the programmes and application-oriented skills at the interface between the environment, economy and society.
Department head Beatrix Kuen-Krismer thanks the previous programme directors Michael Maurer and Silvia Apprich for their great commitment. With this change in leadership, the University of Applied Sciences Campus Vienna is strengthening its position as a practice-oriented and research-focused educational institution in the field of bioinformatics and sustainable resource management.
