Rector Dominik Engel emphasises that the new and enhanced courses offered by FH Salzburg are specifically designed to respond to the dynamic demands of the working world. The courses address future-oriented topics such as early childhood education, sustainable technologies, artificial intelligence and digital business, combining scientific principles with a strong practical focus in order to optimally prepare students for their career entry.
New additions include the Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, which offers academic training in early childhood education, and the part-time Bachelor's degree in Green Engineering – Sustainable Process Engineering & Circular Economy, which combines technology, economics and sustainability. Existing programmes have also been further developed, such as ‘Code and Interactive Systems’ (formerly MultiMediaTechnology) with a focus on modern software development and AI, as well as the Master's programme in ‘IT Management & Consulting’. The range of courses is complemented by the Master's degree in Retail & Technology and the further development of the Bachelor's degree in SME Management and Entrepreneurship towards Business Management and Entrepreneurship.
