STEM Webinar: Austrian Higher Education Institutions in the Spotlight in North America

Around 40 participants joined the STEM webinar to learn about study and research opportunities in Austria. Twelve Austrian higher education institutions presented their programmes and engaged directly with a North American audience.

On 17 March 2026, around 40 participants from North America joined the webinar “Spotlight on Austrian Higher Education Institutions: Focus Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM)” to learn more about study and research opportunities in Austria.

The session focused on English-taught Bachelor’s, Master’s and PhD programmes in STEM fields, as well as funding and scholarship opportunities. Participants gained valuable insights into Austria as a destination for study and research and engaged directly with representatives of Austrian higher education institutions.

In total, 12 Austrian higher education institutions presented their programmes and took the opportunity to connect with an international audience.

The webinar was organised by OeAD under the “Study in Austria” brand in cooperation with EURAXESS Austria the Austrian Cultural Forum Washington, D.C. and EURAXESS North America, thereby strengthening the international visibility of Austria as a higher education and research destination.
