The new joint Master’s program “Personalized Technical Medicine” is designed to train experts who combine medical knowledge with technology and data science. Its goal is to integrate modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, imaging and telemedicine more effectively into clinical practice. In the future, graduates will develop and implement data-driven approaches for diagnostics, monitoring and therapy in interdisciplinary settings, helping to bring innovations to patients’ bedsides more quickly and making healthcare more personalized.
The Master’s program is aimed at technology-oriented professionals and graduates from healthcare, natural sciences and medical engineering fields. Graduates may go on to work as technology and data specialists, digital health project managers or MedTech researchers. The three participating institutions see the program as an important milestone in educating a new generation of professionals at the intersection of medicine and technology. The program launch is subject to accreditation by AQ Austria and approval of the curriculum by the Senate of the JKU.
