BOKU University strengthens its tole in the European Higher Education Area

BOKU University is further expanding its European network and, together with its partners, has secured important funding for international cooperation in teaching, learning and research.

The European University Alliance EPICUR has been selected by the European Commission for another project phase running until the end of 2028. At the same time, the Euroleague of Life Sciences Universities (ELLS) is receiving funding for the first time under the European Universities initiative, amounting to €7.2 million.

These two funding decisions further strengthen BOKU’s international cooperation and open up new opportunities for students and researchers. These include international teaching programmes, joint study programmes and mobility opportunities, as well as new possibilities for scientific cooperation and innovation projects with European partner universities.
