The Federation of Austrian Industries will once again award three EUR 6,000 scholarships for high-potential students from Ukraine in 2024

In 2024, the Federation of Austrian Industries will once again award three EUR 6,000 scholarships for high-potential students from Ukraine who are studying a STEM subject (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology) at an Austrian university or University of Applied Sciences. In addition, the Federation of Austrian Industries will once again award three EUR 6,000 scholarships for high-potential students from Ukraine who are studying a STEM subject (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, technology) after attending a preparatory course.

The aim is for highly qualified, motivated and communicative students from Ukraine to bring the expertise they have acquired in their home country in the field of STEM talent development to the Austrian school system. This exciting transfer of knowledge is to take place in the summer of 2024 with the help of self-developed and organised workshops for interested and talented pupils at upper secondary level in STEM subjects.

The selection is based on a written application, a short application video, an appealing workshop concept, the completeness of the documents and subsequently on the recommendation of a jury. The jury consists of experts from the Federation of Austrian Industries and the University of Vienna.

The application deadline is 01/04/2024. A decision on the awarding of the scholarships will be made by Monday, 22 April 2024 at the latest.
