

The group, which includes members from various European countries, meets regularly to share updates and initiatives related to Citizen Science education. The OeAD Center for Citizen Science is a member of the network and contributes perspectives from Austria. The ECS Academy, coordinated by the Learning Planet Institute, is an online platform offering courses and educational materials on the topic.
At the June 30 meeting, Tanya Yankelevich from Delft University of Technology (Netherlands) presented a training program for researchers interested in Citizen Science projects. All presentation materials from the modules are openly accessible via Zenodo.
Following this, Dave Wall from the Irish Biodiversity Data Centre shared insights into lectures they offer to marine science students, and the lessons their organization has learned through collaboration with universities.
