The Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) is the largest international education fair in Asia and will be held in Singapore in 2018. This year's motto is "The Impact of the Fourth Industrial Revolution of Higher Education in the Asia Pacific". In total, representatives of five Austrian universities are present, for the first time the Montanuniversität Leoben is also represented.

Singapore is undoubtedly one of the most important destinations for international students and researchers in Asia. Some internationally highly regarded and highly ranked universities, such as the National University of Singapore (NUS), the Nanyang Technological University or the Singapore Management University (SMU) are located in Singapore.
