OeAD represents Austrian higher education institutions in Japan, Korea and Croatia

International cooperation seems more important than ever in times of pandemic; networking, however, takes place online.

Even though Covid-19 has a major influence on the higher education institutions’ internationalisation agenda and international networking has to do mostly without physical meetings at the moment, interest in study or research stays in Austria is still high and it is important to maintain internationality even in the corona crisis.

Under the umbrella brand "Highlight your future. Study in Austria" the OeAD therefore participates, together with other European agencies, in international specialist and higher education fairs and webinars in order to present Austria as a location for higher education with its broad range of study programmes.

On November 10th, 2020 we will present Austria as a place to study at the virtual higher education fair "EHEF – European Higher Education Fair in Japan". Apart from the OeAD, the Modul University Vienna will also take part in the online event (Zoom link).

The Study in Europe Fair in Seoul will take place on November 23rd and 24th, 2020. The target audience are Korean students. The OeAD will present the Austrian higher education institutions and study options in a webinar and will also be available for enquiries.

At the Online Education and Career Fair Zagreb on November 25th, 2020 we will present all study options in Austria in cooperation with the Austrian Chamber of Commerce. The following Austrian higher education institutions will be present: University of Applied Sciences Wiener Neustadt, FH JOANNEUM Gesellschaft mbH, IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Modul University Vienna GmbH, Technikum Wien GmbH, TU Graz – Graz University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
