Registration start: Admission procedure for study places in human medicine and dentistry

From March 1, 2021, it will be possible to register online on the website www.medizinstudieren.at for the 2021 admission procedure for study places in human and dental medicine at the medical universities in Vienna, Innsbruck and Graz as well as at the Johannes Kepler Medical Faculty.

To register at the University of Linz (JKU). The registration deadline for the entrance tests, which will take place on July 21, 2021 (around 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.), ends on March 31, 2021.

On the joint website www.medizinstudieren.at, important information about the admission procedure and all study locations is made available, and frequently asked questions are answered. Due to the pandemic, the entrance test for the Vienna study location will be carried out at two locations, as in the previous year. For the allocation, the specified residential address will be used again: For applicants from western Austria and Germany, the test will take place in the Salzburg Exhibition Center, as in 2020, for everyone else, including those applying for dentistry, in the Vienna Exhibition Center.

For optimal preparation, one can find numerous exercise examples and information on the individual test parts and task groups as well as general processing instructions and instructions on the website.

No proof of the Matura or high school diploma is required either when registering online or when taking the MedAT admission test. This is only to be submitted within the framework of the approval after the announcement of the results in August - probably at the end of calendar week 33.
