PhD programs at the FH Burgenland with international partner universities

A joint cross-border doctoral program in International Economic Relations and Management in cooperation with international partner universities has been running at the FH Burgenland since autumn 2014. The university also offers a PhD program in Educational & Communication Sciences. Both doctoral programs are conducted entirely in English. The academic title acquired is recognized in Austria, throughout the European Union and worldwide. The students spend their first year of study at the FH Burgenland in Eisenstadt. Then, depending on the chosen research area, they will be sent to a partner university for the second and third year of study. The course comprises 180 ECTS points, which corresponds to around 4,500 working hours over a period of at least three to five years.
